What I Watched – July 16-29

WhatIWatched

Doing some catch-up this week, since I missed last week’s post. I should also probably start noting that you can keep track of everything I watch over on Letterboxd.

Here’s what I watched:

  • Caddyshack – Rewatch (DVD) – You’ll never see comedies with animatronic gophers these days.
  • Beasts of the Southern Wild – First Viewing (Cinema) – I quite enjoyed this one.
  • Batman Begins – Rewatch (DVD) – Dark Knight Rises catch-up
  • The Dark Knight – Rewatch (DVD) – Ditto
  • The Dark Knight Rises – First Viewing (Cinema) – Here’s the film itself.
  • Silent House – Rewatch (Blu-Ray) – Still good though not the same effect when you can pause.
  • Neil Young Journeys – First Viewing (Cinema) – Concert decent, could have used more documentary
  • Rubber – First Viewing (Netflix) – A one-note pony with many non-sequiturs
  • The Silence of the Lambs – First Viewing (Blu-Ray) – I liked it, but wasn’t blown away.
  • The Watch – First Viewing (Cinema) – Somewhat uneven, though it picks up towards the end.
  • Conan the Barbarian – First Viewing (Cinema) – He punches a camel!
