One thing that can be said about  is that the plot structure is nearly 100% the same as the original.  This isn’t the first sequel to follow the “if it’s not broke, don’t fix it” route, but it still does make the film a little more predictable than the first.

However, I still have to say that film is still quite funny.  The jokes are much cruder this time and the humour in this film will definitely not appeal to everybody.

is still at the heart of the humour in this film, even though he is now somewhat more overexposed than he was two years ago.  Ed Helms (of The Office fame) also gets a much bigger chance to shine in film, in which his character is one of the main focal points.

In the end, while I say that the first film is overall a better movie, there was still plenty to like in The Hangover Part II.
