Here is the first trailer for Alexandre Aja’s 3D sequel/remake to Joe Dante‘s 1978 Jaws parody.

I have to say one of the best things about this film seems to be the seemingly random casting of everyone from Elizabeth Shue to Richard Dreyfus to Eli Roth.  I was especially giddy with the fact that Christopher Lloyd (who is hardly in anything these days) had a major part in this trailer.  However, the fish do look fake though.

The only thing else I have to say is I like how the start of the trailer is a bit of a fake-out and makes the film look like a nature documentary or something.

The film opens in August and may be interesting.
