tells the story of how Nelson Mandela attempted to bring together a divided South Africa by supporting the South African rugby team on their journey to win the Rugby World Cup.

The film works both as a drama about post-apartheid South Africa as well as an inspirational sports movie.  It could be hard to see anybody other than playing Mandela (apparently Mandela himself had the same feeling) and his performance is one of the best things about the film.  is also OK as the Rugby captain.

While no one would have probably expected the first film about Nelson Mandela to be a sports film, I believe that is succeeds in showing how Mandela was one of the all-time great symbols of peace.
