lakeview terrace posterIt seems that can still draw at the box office as Lakeview Terrace opened at number one with an estimated gross of $15.6M. Burn After Reading dropped to second with an estimated gross of $11.3 million.

Even though it was the best reviewed film of the weekend, the comedy Ghost Town had the worst opening of the weekend as it opened in eighth place with an estimated gross of only $5.2M.

Rounding out the new releases, My Best Friend’s Girl opened in third with an estimated $8.3M and the animated film Igor was in forth with an estimated $8M.
