TIFF08: The calm before the storm

tiff08Tomorrow evening at 6:00pm EST, the 2008 Toronto International Film Festival opens to the public.

Single tickets went on sale today and, as expected, I lost a few of my film choices. However, there should be enough films left when I go purchase my first batch of tickets tomorrow morning.

If all goes well, I will see my first festival screening on Friday. On the weekend, I will begin my third year as a festival volunteer at the wonderful Varsity cinemas, which is home base to the majority of the festival’s press/industry screenings.

I have a feeling this year’s festival will be fun.

Tomorrow, I will list the films that I manage to get tickets for.
