This Weekend in Movies – May 30, 2008

It is almost a “battle of the sexes” this weekend at the Box Office.

The big release this week is the very female-centred movie version of the popular HBO TV show Sex and the City.

Its only opponent is the (traditionally) male-centred horror film The Strangers.

While it can be an easy guess on who would probably win, I will still say to let the battle begin.

And with that, I have to say that I am taking a leave of absence for a few days. I shall return sometime later in the week with the June Movies of the Moment column.
