Canadian Films on the Rise

First, this past weekend I read that Trailer Park Boys became the #1 movie in Canada (#11 in North America) with a box office of $1.3 million.

Now, I read that the Quebec-made buddy film “Bon Cop, Bad Cop” has just become the highest grossing Canadian film, beating the 24 year old record held by Porky’s (which was technically a US-distributed Canadian-made film).

Yeah, things are looking up for the Canadian film industry.
