Classic Thoughts: The Bourne Identity

bourne identity posterOne of my gifts during the holidays was The Bourne Trilogy box set.

The only one of the three films I saw in theatres, was The Bourne Ultimatum, though I saw the rest prior.

In re-watching The Bourne Identity, I found that it is both good as a stand alone film, while also leaving enough open for the sequels that came after.

The film is also notable of creating a bit of unlikely action star out of Damon, whose closest role prior to the film was in Ocean’s Eleven.

The Bourne Identity still holds up and I look forward to rewatching the other two.
