DVD Picks – July 8, 2008
Coinciding with next week’s release of The Dark Knight, this week sees the release of new animated feature Batman: Gotham Knight. This is a collection of six anime-style stories, which make this release similar to The Animatrix, which was released just before the release of The Matrix Reloaded. This week also sees the release of Batman Begins in both a giftset and Blu-Ray release.
This week also sees the release of the superhero parody Superhero Movie, the Iraq War drama Stop-Loss, and the horror film The Ruins.
