It’s an obsession!!!

Donnie Darko was a very good movie indeed! In fact I returned it the video store purely for the fact that I was too temped to watch it over and over again (I do plan to buy it though).

This movie just has a very good plots, sympathetic characters, great ’80s songs(the movie takes place in 1988), one of the best movie-based websites I’ve seen(http://www.donniedarko.com – I recommend going to it AFTER seeing the movie), and a freaky guy in a rabbit suit.

Also unlike “popcorn flicks” Donnie Darko actually makes you think(I did tons of internet searching right after seeing the movie the first time to try and find explanations for it’s complicated plot. As a result this movie might not be for everyone(especially since this movie will probably leave you a bit baffled the first time through).

The funny thing is that this movie was only put into limited release in the US and it wasn’t even released theatrically in Canada. So if it wasn’t for my constant daily visits to movie websites(especially the IMDB), I probably would never have discovered this great film

Once again I definitely recommend you give this movie a try
