This week we are going to look at the teaser trailer for the remake of the classic 1950s sci-fi classic.

The Day the Earth Stood Still

The Day the Earth Stood Still is probably ranked up there with War of the Worlds as one of the classic science fiction films. So, like War of the Worlds three years ago, the film is receiving a modern retelling.

The main goal of this trailer is show Keanu Reeves as the, slightly creepy, extraterrestrial Klaatu. The trailer also gives a brief look at the alien attacks in the film, including a split-second shot of the robot Gort.

As a lover of science fiction, I would definitely be looking forward to this film when it comes out in December.
