Cub is a Belgian horror film that that centers on the outcast cub scout of Sam. Sam is repeatedly targeted by the other members of his troupe, as well as the mean-spirited leader Peter (). Prior to leaving on their camping trip, the troupe is told the story of the feral “werewolf boy” Kai, who Sam quickly learns actually exists. However, the question that has to be asked is whether or not Kai is a friend or foe?

Cub is a film that somewhat takes its time to build up its horror, as things don’t really get going for the second half. However, the film does sport some quite well-executed deaths, where literally no one is safe.  Cub also features a quite excellent Giallo-like score by (The Guest).
