Shame

Shame

Let me start by saying that I thought that  was a really good film.  The film does have very strong sexual content, which makes it a little difficult to watch at times (and it’s not really passive entertainment).

That said, I thought that overall the film was absolutely enthralling, with excellent performances by and .  I also have to compliment the cinematography that made an intriguing use of long, lingering shots.

Overall, despite the sexual nature of the film (and an NC-17 rating in the US), Shame is probably one of the best films of the year.
