Len and Company

lenandcompany

A reclusive music producer finds his seclusion disrupted by his son and a pop star in . Len () is a highly successful music producer, who has shut himself off from the world. He is visited by his son Max (), who has recently dropped out of college and has recorded a music demo that he too afraid to have his father listen to. The two are subsequently joined by pop star Zoe (), who has her own issues with Len to resolve.

Len and Company is a comedy about a cranky old music producer, who gets to bond with his somewhat estranged son. This is a film that really allows Rhys Ifans to shine and show how good he is at playing these types of characters. Len is a complete jerk on the outside, but inside he has a heart of gold. The film also has a stand-out supporting performance by Juno Temple, who is great in pretty much anything that she is in.

The bulk of Len and Company is made up of the three central characters, along with William (), a kid from up the road, when helps Len with his maintenance. While there is a little bit of drama later on in the film, Len and Company is altogether a quite enjoyable comedy about a grumpy recluse and the company that he keeps.
