Prometheus 1

Quite a busy week coming up for me.

New Releases

  • Prometheus (June 9) – Ridley Scott’s return to the world of Alien (which may or may not be a prequel) is one of the most anticipated films of the summer. I definitely look forward to checking this one out.
  • Cosmopolis (June 12) – ‘s latest promises to be a return-to-form reminiscent of the director’s earlier work (even if it does star ).  I’ll check it out on Tuesday.
  • High School (June 8) – I’ll be checking out this independent stoner comedy this evening.  Looks to have a hilarious performance by as a crazed drug dealer.
Repertory
  • The Rules of Attraction (June 10) – This 2002 dark comedy will be screening Sunday at the Bell Lightbox with director Roger Avery in attendance.  Should be interesting.
Other
  • Beneath (June 11) – My friend is having a screening of his horror film and I plan to check it out and write about it.
