This Weekend in Movies – July 24, 2009

OrphanPosterSince I was away last week, this week I plan more on catching up with films I missed (such as Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince) instead of checking out the new films.

That’s probably a good thing, since all the major new releases this week haven’t been getting great reviews.

The “best” reviewed film of the week is the horror film Orphan, which has a 48% Fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

Next is the 3D family film G-Force, which has a 15% Fresh rating.

Finally there is the romantic comedy The Ugly Truth, which only has a 12% Fresh rating.

And that’s this weekend in movies.
