This Weekend in Movies – June 12, 2009

David Lynch Teaches Creativity and Film

TheTakingofPelham123Poster 1This week, the big release is the Scott-directed remake The Taking of Pelham 123. The film is currently sporting a 46% Fresh rating at Rotten Tomatoes.

Also opening this week is the family comedy Imagine That, which has a 38% Fresh rating.

Some of the best reviews of the week goes to the indie sci-fi film Moon, which has an 86% Fresh rating. I plan to see that film as soon as it opens in Toronto in a couple weeks.

And that’s this weekend in movies.
