I was preoccupied with TIFF today, but there is still one more weekend before the big festival, kicking off the fall movie season.

This weekend I will be giving a chance to Gamer by Crank directors Mark Neveldine and Brian Taylor. It wasn’t screened for critics, but it currently has a 25% Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes rating based on those who have.

Better reviews are being given for the new Mike Judge comedy Extract, which has a 63% Fresh rating.

On the opposite end of the scale, the romantic comedy All About Steve received a dismal 6% Fresh rating.

In addition, before TIFF begins, I plan on seeing 9 when it opens on Wednesday and that film already has an 86% Fresh rating.
