What I Watched – June 10-23

WhatIWatched

The last two weeks have been an interesting contrast for me.  After a very busy week that saw me post practically every day, I seemingly disappeared for a week as I became more busy making films for the class I’m taking.  My movie watching took a bit of a hit as well, with me sticking with home viewing for the most part (and not even having the time to see a film on the weekend).  I expect this habit to continue for a couple more weeks until the class concludes and I can go back to a more regular viewing schedule.  Anyways, here is what I watched. Theatrical Screenings

Blu-Ray

  • Battle Royale (rewatch) – I enjoy this more each time I watch it.
  • Naked Lunch (rewatch) – The weirdest film you’ll see about drug addiction and repressed homosexuality
  • Stoker (rewatch) – The second viewing allowed me look in awe at the wonderful cinematography and editing.

Netflix

  • Rumble in the Bronx – The action was good, but the acting was horrendous (made worse by the dubbing)
  • Robocop – Cheesy violent fun

Screened in Class

  • Princess Margaret Blvd (rewatch) – My professor had high praise for this one
  • The Lunch Date (rewatch) – How many times have I seen this short now?
