External How to Plan an Orgy in a Small Town
As a teenager, Cassie Cranston (Jewel Staite) was a victim of slut shaming, after she was caught in bed with her boyfriend Adam (Ennis Esmer). Fed up with the repressed sexuality in the small town of Beaver’s Ridge, Cassie leaves and becomes a successful sex columnist. When Cassie returns to town for her mother’s funeral, she still receives much hostility from the townsfolk, particularly from overachiever Heather Mitchell (Lauren Lee Smith), who also happens to now be married to Adam. Not wanting to be considered a prude, and desperate for a child, Heather agrees to help organize an orgy with a group of the town’s eccentric townsfolk, including Cassie’s promiscuous best friend Alice (Katharine Isabelle), horny real estate agent Bruce (Mark O’Brien), and shy and awkward Chester (Jonas Chernick).
